Our family cabin at Blue Lake Springs in Arnold, California is a 1500 square foot cabin. There are two downstairs bedrooms, one with king bed, the other with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. Upstairs, in the loft are four twin beds, television and full separate bathroom. Free wireless DSL.
On the main floor is a large living room/dining room. A wonderful large deck overlooks the Snowflake Lodge Lake and lower tennis courts.As a renter in our cabin, you are entitled to full use of the facilities. For a small weekly fee, Blue Lake Springs offers Snowflake Lodge, a full service restaurant. During the summer there is a pool, tennis courts, swimming lake, ping pong, volleyball, shuffleboard, activities including arts and crafts, outdoor movies, and campfires - all a few steps from the cabin

Vacation Rental Policies
Reservations:
Reservations are accepted six months in advance. Upon making your verbal reservation, we will hold it for you for 7 days. If we have not received your security deposit within the 7 day period, your reservation will no longer be held for you. As soon as we receive your security deposit, we will mail you a confirmation stating your arrival & departure dates and the rental amount due.
Security Deposit:
A security deposit of $300.00 is needed in order to hold your reservation. This will be returned within 30 days after your departure date.
Liability:
If there are damages to the property or cabin, broken items, missing articles, etc., this will be deducted from your deposit.
Cancellations:
A cancellation fee of $150.00 will be charged if you cancel two weeks prior to your arrival date. The fee is $50.00 if you cancel before your two week check-in date. The total of $150.00 will apply if you decide to switch cabins. Thirty days notice for all Holiday cancellations. No Exceptions!
Payment:
Payment in full must be paid two weeks prior to your check-in date. You may pay by cash, money order, cashier check, or personal check. With prior approval payment may be made on the day of arrival by CASH ONLY. There is a $50.00 fee for all returned checks. Renter agrees that any additional charges, if any, will be deducted from the deposit. Renter is also responsible for any costs in excess of the deposit including attorney’s fees incurred for costs of collection.
Check-In:
Your cabin will be ready for you at 3:00 p.m. If you would like an earlier check-in time there is a $50.00 charge, with prior approval only.
Check-Out:
You must depart your cabin by 12:00 p.m. If you extend the 12:00 p.m. check-out time you will be charged for a full night.
Occupancy Policy:
There is a limit of 10 people (including children) for our pricing schedule, there is an additional $10.00 per person charge for each night. Children 10 years and younger are free but counted in the cabin limit. It is necessary for us to know the exact number of people in your party when you check-in. If more people are staying at the cabin and not reported when your reservation was made, you will be asked to leave immediately and your deposit will be forfeited.
Pets:
If your cabin has a pet policy there will be an additional $100 deposit. If your cabin has a "no pet" policy and a pet is found on the property, your deposit will be forfeited.
Keys: Keys are to be picked up at our office (Cabins In Arnold Realty, 1044 Hwy 4), before 5 p.m. Our office is located across the street from Bank Of America on the left; If you require a late key pickup after 5 p.m., please let our office know in advance. A fee of $25.00 will be charged. If your cabin is paid in advance, your rental package along with directions to your cabin will be in a lockbox outside our front door. You will be given the combination ahead of time. Upon departure keys must be returned to Cabins In Arnold Realty. There will be a $50.00 charge for keys not returned. If the office is closed, please put the keys in the lock box.
Travel Advisory:
*It is always advisable to carry chains for your vehicle during the winter months. In case of snow, the driveway of your rental cabin will be plowed to allow for parking of one car only on the day of your arrival. Parking on the street is not allowed. Clearing for the parking of other vehicles is your responsibility. Please be advised that we cannot be held responsible if the county blocks the driveway with a snow berm after we have arranged to plow the drive.
